Our Family Sea Burial

We began our Service for my Aunt on the deck with a group of family members. We all held a rose, said our prayer and shared some special memories.

Then all but 4 of our group departed to Shoreline Village to enjoy a little sightseeing and a walk by the docks. Captain Chuck found the perfect spot for us to spread the ashes and throw our roses in. A seal popped up out of nowhere and then the Captain did a circle around the burial site.

It was a beautiful memorable day, Thanks to Island Trader Charters and Captain Chuck Brown.

Captain Chuck:

I just wanted to thank you on behalf of our family for the excellent job of bringing my two brothers to the spot just off the Huntington Beach Pier, Saturday, March 13th, so they could disperse our Mother's ashes.

The weather was a bit choppy but you managed to place the Island Trader in the right spot for us to view and take photos. Thank you.
